【Important Notice Regarding the Issuance of Invoices and Receipts】
To comply with official accounting regulations and Japanese tax laws,
all invoices and receipts will strictly itemize the exact breakdown of
each fee (e.g., Registration Fee, Banquet Fee, Excursion Fee).
Under any circumstances—including the financial or internal regulations
of your home institution— we can NOT issue a combined invoice or receipt
under a single generalized title such as "Conference Fee" for the
total amount.
Please note that the secretariat are too busy and thus will not reply to any individual
inquiries or requests for exceptions regarding this matter. We kindly
ask for your understanding and cooperation prior to making your
payment.
【Important Notice Regarding Registration & Payments】
Invoice publication: We can accept specific or individual requests (including custom invoice arrangements) only after your registration is complete.
Immediate payment is not required at the initial registration; you will have time to complete the online credit card process later but no later than the deadline (June 30th if you want the early-bird discount).
You may also cancel your registration if your plans change.
Note : All payments must be done online prior to the conference start. There will be no on-site payments.

Registration fees include
the welcome party on Tuesday 22nd, lunch on 23rd~26th and the coffee breaks everyday.
Accompanying person (one family of non-scientist, nor a student) should register with the participant, need not pay the registration fee but for the banquet if he/she will attend.

Refund Policy
1. Cancellation and Refund Deadlines

2. Refund Processing:
Refunds will be processed within 30 business days after the receipt of the cancellation request.
Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
3. Notification in Writing:
Any requests for cancellations or registration transfers must be submitted in writing to the conference secretariat: icl2026kyoto(a)gmail.com. Verbal or informal requests will not be accepted.
